Fiona’s First Halloween

Was spent hiding in my room. My mom came over and handed out candy to trick-or-treaters. It was a somewhat slow Halloween because it was a Sunday night. This is one of my least favorite holidays, although I am excited for the day that we can take Fiona out dressed in costume (and eat her candy after). Last year John and I went to Pismo Beach for the weekend. We stayed in a little hotel on the beach, did some wine tasting, and spent Halloween night touring Hearst Castle in San Simeon. It was a very pleasant and romantic weekend. I was pregnant very shortly after.

Here is a photo of the jack-o-lanterns that I carved. It is daylight. I did not get a photo of them with candles inside. Update: John did after I went to sleep.

Yup, still eating the hand.

Here she is next to Wrinkley. I’d say she’s grown a little since last time I took a picture of her next to this dog.

In fact, she’s now 12 pounds, more than double her coming home weight of 5 pounds 13 ounces, and more than triple her birth weight of 3 pounds 10 ounces . Now she just needs to double her due date weight (6 pounds 8 ounces). Maybe then she’ll sleep through the night?

Like Mother, like Daughter I guess…

Yes, I sleep with my watch on. I only take it off to shower even though it is waterproof.
