Yesterday my moms group meeting had a special purpose; to tie dye onsies for our kiddos. Here are two that I made:
Fiona is going to wear one of them to breastfeeding group on Monday even though they are a size too big for her.
Here is a cute Thanksgiving onesie I bought at Babies R Us:
Here I am getting ready to walk home from moms group. It was really hot. I walked with another mom who lives down the street. It’s really exciting to think that there is someone close by with a child the same age as Fiona, and a good resource.
This is the first time Fiona tolerated being sideways in the Moby. Usually she likes to look out, but on that day, she just curled up inside and went to sleep.
Speaking of sleep, she slept for 5 hours last night. Unfortunately, it was from 8pm to 1am, but it was still exciting to think that she can sleep that long. We are eliminating the night time bottle feeding so even though she might sleep a little more (no more waking at 11ish to eat) I will be getting less sleep. But I don’t care.
Today all of her poops were golden yellow again. For a while it seemed she was on a little poop strike, pooping only once a day instead of her usual three or four times. I realized I turned into one of those moms who talks about her baby’s poop a while ago. But I now understand why moms are so concerned with poop; the color, frequency, and consistency tell if baby is getting enough to eat and if baby has any issue with food.
Here are some photos Fiona from today. She weighs 12 pounds 5 ounces according to our home scale.
This week Fiona started reaching out for things, particularly my fingers and sometimes her rattle. She also rolled over from tummy to back a couple of times and slowly rotates her self 90 degrees.
