Today John let me sleep in a little bit. I slept from 6:30 until 8 while he played with Fiona and kept her occupied until it was time to eat again. I had two dreams.
I guess the extra sleep did not help my coordination as much as it should have because I had a little accident while clipping her nails. I accidentally cut her thumb. She whined for a second and it looked like just a little nick, but then it started to bleed more heavily. I pushed a tissue on it and then John held her while I cut up a band aid to fit her tiny digit, then wrapped the rest of the band aid around that to keep it on. We put a mitten over it and taped it in place to keep her from eating the band aid. She only cried while she was being restrained and barely noticed that she had anything unusual on her left hand. After the bath tonight we changed the dressing. You could hardly tell anything happened.
On another note, she rolled over today from tummy to back, then later from back to tummy! This is the first time she’s done both in one day!
She also likes playing with Panda now and with the hanging penguin on her activity mat. She hasn’t gained much weight this week but has slept a lot and seems bigger. For example, the penguin hangs just above her head. She used to clear it no problem, but now it looks like it will hit her face if it swings too much.

And last, what post would be complete without the heart shaped puke stain on my pants? Is my kid talented or what?
