Sometimes Fiona seems like she is embarrassed when she eats. She hides her face like a celebrity being chased by paparazzi (in this case the camera person is me).
She sometimes flirts with the camera, sometimes looks annoyed with it.
She says, “Power to the people!” but then crosses her legs daintily.
Nothing very exciting has happened around here lately. I fed Fiona in a restaurant (again, that makes us 2 for 2). She’s had some very interestingly colored poop (yes, I’m now one of those moms who talks about her baby’s poop). She’s been drooling a lot lately and has discovered that her hand is a tasty snack. She also weighs 11 pounds. Preemie parents are obsessed with their children’s weights because of how small they at birth. We are no exception. Probably when she is much older and we are not worried about her “catching up” we’ll stop obsessing. But for now, we are always very excited when she gains.
