This onesie was designed by Jane Barry:
It says “1/2 Canadian 100% Gorgeous!”
Sometimes Fiona makes very funny faces. Here she is probably wondering why there is a blanket on her head and wishing I’d stop shoving a camera in her face.
Last night while getting Fiona ready for her bath I discovered something – she now has a butt! Preemies usually have a lot less fat than termies and they frequently have no butts. But Fi now has one! It’s so cute!
Fi gets 4 bottles a day (the rest is breast). Here she is “holding” the bottle while my mom feeds her:
I’m detecting a pattern here:
After this, I am going to stop posting photos of Fiona sleeping on John. I’m not sure what they will do when he goes back to work; she’ll lose her mattress and he’ll lose his chest warmer.
She seems like she’s getting so big even though she is barely the size of an average newborn. When your baby is born less than four pounds, seven pounds seems gigantic. By the way, I slept in the shirt that I’m wearing in the picture on the left. My new goal for the day is to get out of my pajamas by noon from now on.
She intertwines her feet when she sleeps:
Those pants really do make her butt look big ;)
