There is a lady in our neighborhood that does turtle and tortoise rescue. The tortoise live in the front yard. We like to walk by them sometimes and watch.
As we walked up today we heard a strange sound. It turns out two tortoises were going at it. The lady who owns the house came out and asked us if wanted to take any tortoises home. She has a few very large animals right now. John told he it looked like she was going to have more soon and she replied, “Oh no, they’re all male in there.”
Interesting.
Fiona slept through the whole thing.
