Fiona eats really well when her daddy feeds her. He talks to her and coaxes her along. He’s gotten her to take most of her bottle. When I try to feed her, she usually falls asleep.
We burp her sitting up. The nurses explained that it’s safer because preemies tend to rear their head back a lot, and this way, she is less likely to fall back while being burped.
We’ve been told she is a really good burper. I wonder where she gets that trait? OK, I’ll admit it, she gets it from me. And proud of it!
